Virtual Assistants (VAs) are highly-skilled, independent professionals who provide administrative, operational, technical, creative, and personal support from a remote location. They usually engage in long-term collaborative business relationships with a handful of clients. Utilizing phone, email, as well as other emerging technologies, VAs support clients across a broad scope of services without having to ever step foot inside the clients' offices.
Although, most of the work is remote. The VAE provides that little extra in welcoming in-person meetings or on-site support to those located in Wake County, NC.
The Virtual Assistance Services are prepaid. Clients purchase plans or packages in advance, similar to the retainer model used in legal services. Although there are a few exceptions:
American Express • Discover • MasterCard • Visa • PayPal
Payments are protected through data encryption, providing you with peace of mind that your online transactions are secure. After a consultation, an e-invoice is sent with a "View and Pay Invoice" button enabling you to make a secure payment.
Yes. Recognizing that everyone's time is valuable and to free up appointment times for those on a waiting list, clients are expected to provide a minimum of 24-hour notice if they are unable to keep their appointment.
As a courtesy to help clients remember their scheduled appointments, a calendar invite will be sent out immediately after an appointment time/date is agreed. If circumstances surface that will cause a client to miss a scheduled appointment, clients are respectfully asked to provide at least a 24-hour notice. One missed or late canceled meeting is forgiven. However, any subsequent late canceled or missed appointment shall trigger a $50 "no-show" service charge to be applied to a client's account. The fee will be required to be paid before any rescheduled appointment takes place.
We all need time to recharge and have a work-life balance, standard operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern, excluding the following major holidays.
There have been numerous times when The VAE has been asked to learn companies' software to either document processes or train others, for example during employee onboarding. Should you employ a proprietary software or a less common application, the VA may be unfamiliar with the technology. In these cases, the client will need to either provide training on the software (or self-service tutorials). The time needed to learn the application or software will be billed to the client.
In appreciation for your business and to demonstrate confidence in The VAE's services, the purchase of an administrative plan comes with a 100% satisfaction guaranteed. If you are not completely satisfied with the services provided after day one, then a full refund will be given.
Hiring an independent contractor offers employers many advantages. Unlike traditional employees, employers do not pay taxes on an independent contractor’s wages and are not expected to provide benefits. Employers often save 30 to 40 percent on labor costs by using independent contractors.
The VAE works with small start-ups, nonprofits, and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) in a variety of industries. These industries include eCommerce, food, apparel, health & beauty, fitness, real estate, camps, travel, finance, arts, consulting, and retail support operations.
This time will vary from project to project depending on several variables. In general, standard websites take approximately three months.
